The upcoming PvP system in World of Warcraft: Forever has attracted considerable attention among gaming enthusiasts whose interests may also extend to 12BSports, particularly after players uncovered a possible clue suggesting that arena combat could eventually become part of the experience. Blizzard has already established a seasonal structure for player-versus-player activities, while equipment associated with the first Honor season has been discovered through datamining. However, whether traditional arena battles will be included remains uncertain. A recent discovery in the newly introduced Riverglades zone has now renewed speculation about this potentially significant addition.

Riverglades introduces a neutral settlement known as Powderfuse Port, where players have encountered an unusual NPC named Jazzle Cheapshot. The character stands near a small enclosed fighting area, and his dialogue contains several intriguing references to organized combat. Rather than offering an ordinary quest or providing general information about the settlement, Jazzle appears frustrated that his fighting venue is not yet operational.

When approached, the goblin explains that there are currently no fights taking place. He complains that members of the Horde and Alliance are too occupied fighting each other in the open world, even though their confrontations could generate considerable income inside his arena. Clearly puzzled by their preference for uncontrolled battles, he encourages visitors to return once he has finished preparing the establishment.

The structure beside Jazzle resembles an octagonal fighting cage, similar to one already found in Gadgetzan. During the original level-60 version of World of Warcraft, the Gadgetzan cage never functioned as an accessible competitive arena. It eventually received a limited purpose during Season of Discovery, when it was incorporated into a Warrior rune quest. That historical connection suggests that the new structure could simply serve as environmental decoration or become part of another specialized quest rather than introducing a completely new PvP system.

Nevertheless, the final portion of Jazzle’s dialogue deserves closer attention. His invitation to return after completing preparations implies that the currently inactive venue may eventually serve a more meaningful purpose. For gaming enthusiasts exploring different competitive experiences, including 12BSports alongside traditional MMORPG entertainment, the possibility of another structured combat activity adds an intriguing dimension to the mystery surrounding Riverglades.

One explanation is that Blizzard intends to unlock the cage after players satisfy particular requirements, possibly involving character progression, quest completion or future seasonal content. Under that arrangement, the location could eventually host organized encounters instead of remaining an unused environmental feature. Another possibility is that Jazzle himself will become responsible for registering participants for arena matches, while the physical cage functions primarily as a visual representation of the activity.

There is also an interesting historical precedent supporting the latter possibility. Jazzle Cheapshot belongs to the goblin race, and Blizzard frequently assigned goblin NPCs responsibility for arena registration during The Burning Crusade era. That design tradition makes his presence beside a dedicated combat enclosure particularly noteworthy. Although this connection does not establish that arena matches are planned, it provides a reasonable explanation for why the developers selected a goblin character for the location.

Despite these clues, no official confirmation establishes whether the Riverglades cage will become a functional PvP arena. The structure could ultimately support a quest, provide a location for informal combat or simply contribute to the atmosphere of Powderfuse Port. Until additional information becomes available, its intended purpose remains an open question.

As players divide their leisure time between 12BSports and the evolving adventures of Azeroth, the discovery of Jazzle Cheapshot offers another reason to examine the smaller details hidden throughout World of Warcraft: Forever. Seasonal Honor rewards are already part of the planned PvP experience, but the addition of arena battles would introduce another potentially important competitive feature. For now, the goblin’s unfinished fighting venue remains an intriguing mystery, with its future role dependent on Blizzard’s subsequent development decisions.
